ISLAMABAD, Oct 14 (APP): To enhance global disaster management efforts, the Inter-Islamic Network on Space Sciences and Technology (ISNET) and the Iranian Space Agency (ISA) have announced an exciting international workshop titled “Space Technology Applications for Disaster Management.”

Scheduled to take place from December 15-17 in Tehran, this event promises to be a unique platform for exchanging knowledge about how cutting-edge space technology can boost disaster preparedness and resilience.

The workshop will gather experts, researchers, and professionals from around the world to delve into the latest advancements in space technology and their potential to reduce the impacts of natural and man-made disasters.

ISNET and ISA invite participants to engage in discussions covering various aspects of space-based solutions for disaster management, such as satellite monitoring, early warning systems, and applications for post-disaster recovery.
